THE ART

“As an artist, the perfumer is touched by the perfection of nature. That nature that takes place with its creation, in the final product. The perfumer marvels in front of the world and wishes to express it with the piece of art: a fragrance"

Mariela Cicuttini, Perfumer & Director of Chemoil S.A.

Art is closely associated to perfumery, because it needs creatives who, in addition to a mindful artistic training, an education and an olfactory memory studied, have a certain "gift of intuition" and imagination of that spark that results in a success, and above all a great deal of realism to never forget that the best perfume is the one sold.

The perfumer, who is intimately involved in the olfactory palette will be able to predict whether each raw material is suitable for its composition. The intuitive talent is not a coincidence, it is a result of experience and knowledge gained over a long career.

We think that elaborating a perfume is like composing a musical symphony...selecting harmoniously and laboriously, those chords that will make that fragrance, the success of our customer’s product because we know clearly that we are partners of its success.

...and the science of fragrance production.

Perfumery associate science in all its fields, in the severe quality control of both raw materials and finished products, using analytical, physical, and chemical methods, among others mass spectrometry, gas chromatography and refractometry.
